Wild boar attacks family on motorcycle, kills man and injures four
KUANTAN: A man died while his wife and three children were
injured after the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a wild boar
at KM21.5 Ibam-Rompin Road, near Rompin, Tuesday night.
The victim, Syed Abdullah Syed Ali, 32, from Mardi Housing, Muadzam Shah died on the spot due to severe head and body injuries.

Traffic and Public Order chief Supt Mohamed Fauzi Abdul Rahim said the
family was travelling from their house to Muadzam Shah to buy milk in
the 8pm incident.
"Upon reaching the scene, it was believed that
the wild boar suddenly emerged from the bush nearby to cross the road
before hitting their motorcycle.
"As a result, the victims fell
onto the road, but the wife, 22, and three children, aged one, two and
four years old sustained only minor injuries," he said.
It was
believed that during the incident, one of the victim's children was
sitting at the front of the motorcycle, another child was sitting on his
wife's lap while the third was being held by his wife.
He said
all the injured victims had received treatment at Muadzam Shah Hospital
and the case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road
Transport Act 1987. - Bernama
