Thousands caught in crawl following flash floods in city
KUALA LUMPUR: Thousands of people were caught in a crawl
heading in and out of the city following a heavy downpour in the
evening.
Traffic jams were reported in all major roads here.
Traffic officials say the Segambut roundabout is still badly congested due to flash floods near the Matrade building.
Cars along Jalan Tun Razak and Jalan Sultan Ismail and surrounding areas were bumper to bumper.
The Bandar Tun Razak tunnel was earlier closed to traffic after it was flooded but is now open to traffic.
A Fire and Rescue Department official said that they received reports that Kampung Sungai Penchala experienced floods but water has since receded.
