is a daughter’s first love, which explains why Maira Elizabeth Nari
wants her daddy to be there when she collects her SPM results tomorrow.
“My SPM result is coming out soon but I am much more worried about my dad. I’m hoping that he’ll be back before I take my results. Sigh,” she tweeted.

Maira, whose Twitter handle is @Gorgxous_, has touched many hearts with her messages to her father.
On Sunday, she tweeted: “Daddy, Liverpool is winning the game. Come home, so you can watch the game! You never miss watching the game. It’s your very first time.”
There has been a huge outpouring of support and encouragement for Maira, who has amassed 41,500 followers on Twitter with her heartrending postings.
“Sometimes you’ll never know the true value of a moment, not until it becomes a memory,” she wrote on Monday.
The teenager and other family members of MH370 crew and passengers have been posting their thoughts and feelings online.
Izzat Nazli, the nephew of MH370 cabin crew staff Wan Swaid Wan Ismail, has also been going public about his anxiety for his uncle.
Under the Twitter handle @the onlywann, Izzat said his family had been hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.
“Even my aunt can accept what has happened. We are sad but (we have) to be strong.
“We are all ready to face it. We still hope the plane comes home. Keep praying,” he wrote.
He also tweeted that “Malaysia is starting to rain, haze recedes and hopefully #MH370 can return. Hoping for a miracle. Allah is hearing every time we pray.”
As for Afiq Abdul Hamid, whose brother is co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid, he expressed gratitude for all the support that was given to his family.
“Thank you to all for your prayers and good wishes. It gave me the strength to persevere and it warmed my heart,” he wrote in his Twitter account @afiqhamid.
“I don’t have to listen to rumours about a man when I can judge him for myself,” he tweeted in an apparent reference to speculation about the crew of the Malaysia Airlines aircraft.
As for pilot Capt Zaharie Ahmad Shah, the fan pages on Facebook have continuously been swamped with messages of support and encouragement.
“Hang in there captain! Come home, clear all doubts and prove your innocence,” Rosnani Paiman posted.
There are over 49,000 likes for the page.
“We believe in you Capt Zaharie,” Nora Lee wrote.
One passenger known as Wong Sai Sang, 52, would not have been on board if not for an earlier missed flight.
Gk See posted on his Facebook page: “People say eating durian brings back fond memories of home. As the durian season approaches, we wait for your return.”
A posting by Pc Kwek stated: “You have promised to take the choir members to eat durian in your hometown! Don’t forget! Come back soon!”
