The Assessment for Form 3 will be held in school on 13-16 October, 2014 . The examination will start at 7.45 am for Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics.Please do refer to your examination schedule carefully to avoid any mistake on subject papers.We pray our students have good enough sleep and do not study last minutes. The Assessment for Form Three better known Pentaksiran Tingkatan 3 (PT3 ) is a new approach to replace PMR examination in the country.The Ministry of Education has agreed to introduce PT3 to all school this year. Hopefully PT3 examination will run smoothly to ensure all candidates can concentrate on their papers without any disorders.
6+1 Subjects
There are 7 subjects to be assess in this assessment.The subjects are Bahasa Melayu, English, Science, Mathematics, Living Skill (KHB), Islamic Knowledge (compulsory) and plus another subject such as Chinese language,Tamil language, Punjabi, Arabic language or Kadazan Dusun language. Candidates must take 6 subjects that is obligatory to them and one elective subject (6+1) in this assessment.The school authorities has already set up the hall and classroom to welcome candidates on the assessment tomorrow.There are few tips to our students before entering the examination hall. Firstly make a supplicating (Doa) to Allah The Almighty by reciting silently verse Al Insyirah (Alam Nasyrah) until the end of ayah and never forget to give salutation to our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW (Selawat as long as you can). To our non Muslim candidates you are free to make your own belief. Good luck.
Invigilating
Invigilators and operation workers are tightly ties with Education Act 1996 (Act 550) before they get involve with any confidential documents.They must sign Official Secrets Act 1972 pink form and strictly follow Standard Procedure Operation (SOP) during examination season.Examination hall is protected area and not applicable to public including reporters.Chief Invigilator (CI) has the right not to allow anyone to enter the examination room at anytime. Chief Invigilator are responsible to all candidates at the center until the whole paper completely finished.We have 337 candidates this year and majority of them are taken 6 + 1 subjects. On behalf of school I would like to extend my gratitude to all my beloved students to do the best in the examination.This is the first time invigilators will invigilate their own school after PMR examination was abolished.They do not worry of traffic jam and rushing to the strong room to get question papers as usual. The PT3 Assessment is actually less burden to all invigilators and teachers compare to the past.
