GEORGE TOWN: The five teachers in Penang investigated for possible
involvement in the UPSR examination paper leaks have been cleared of any
wrongdoing, state Education Department director Datuk Osman Hussain
said today.
He said investigations by the police and the department showed there
was no strong evidence to show their involvement in the nationwide UPSR
leakage fiasco.
"The police have completed their investigations and we have also completed ours.
"There is no evidence to show the teachers were involved in the
examination paper leakage," he told reporters after visiting year six
pupils re-sitting for the Mathematic UPSR paper at SK Sungai Gelugor
here.
A total of 23,621 pupils in Penang, including nine warded at
hospitals, are re-sitting for the Mathematic and Tamil papers at 281

Penyediaan kertas soalan memanglah tugas kaum guru sepenuhnya.
