Info: This school is located near Platinum Victory 13 Condominium (picture below) and just a step to SK Danau Kota 2 . It is about 800 meter from the main road , Jalan Genting Klang . This area is changing very fast with development of condominium and shopping complex's by Developer Platinum Victory. Now establish as a business center at Danau Kota Setapak . People from Kuala Lumpur heading to Genting Kelang will see Columbia Hospital (new Hospital) . From there, you can follow the school signs to reach the destination. SMK Danau Kota consist of four main building , Block Bestari, Block Arif, Block Dinamik and Block Gemilang . Our enrollment is about 1750 students which operates in two session, morning and afternoon. The number of teachers is about 129 and 16 stuff. We also have special program for disable which is familiar known as PPKI (Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi). The number of students is about 105 and 24 teachers to teach the kids with a various category such as syndrome down, hyper active, cerebral palsy and learning disabilities.

School Achievement

We are proud to be a glorious school at all areas such as academic performance, co curricular activities and sports . The School Management and Administration has set up the vision and mission to ensure we achieve our target to be an excellence school by the year 2013 (next year). We must work hard and collaborate each other to fulfill the school agenda. I am confident we will receive our result because we have many expertise and masters in our own fields. As a results, PMR last year, we increase our achievement with 12 'A's scorer, 2.92 School Average Gred and good prestige base on quality and quantity compare to the year before. In co curricular performance ( Sepak Takraw ) tournament we are champion for the region in Keramat where our players under 15 shows their best commitment and perform a good score. Unfortunately our players under 18 in the fourth place . Through the achievement, we will build up our strength with enough training and coaching to ensure we will win for the next tournament. SK Danau Kota 2 . Be caution ! during School hours is very pack with crowds. Road users should tolerate each other and do not make U turn in-front of school to avoid any incident happen.
