Malaysian Educators should make deeply analyzing thinking more advance in teaching and learning process in order to improving high order thinking skill (Hots) among students. Reported widely on the newspaper due to the low achievement of Malaysian Students in Mathematics and Science. Our ranking 52 out of 65 countries according to PISA (Program For International Student Assessment) really embarrassing us. Many people blaming teachers because of the poor results.
PISA is an international program which conducting surveys on education system world wide by examine knowledge and skill of form 3 students (aged of 15) in Mathematics and Science. It is unfair to blame and condemn our teachers and education system just for the purpose of that particular subjects. I belief this is not the ultimate indicator to judge our teachers in the teaching and learning process.They have done a lots of students performance in school.
