Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sinar Bintang @ STAR is a daily school situated in Sinar Bintang housing area Segambut Kuala Lumpur.This school was early operated since 2001. At present students enrollment is about 1,791 as at 30 April,20014 and teachers 126. We have two session, morning and afternoon. Majority students are Chinese, few Malays and the rest Indian.
We all like a big family working together peacefully and harmony go for quality to uphold the school reputation in all areas especially in academic excellence,co-curricular and sports.
I was transferred to this school since April 2012 until now. The school direction has been set up with 60 percent achievement in Academic performance, 20 percent Co-curricular and another 20 percent on Discipline area.
According to Harvard Business Center research,85 percent of progress and excellence organization because of Leadership, only 15 percent from management.
Leadership approach is one of the main important factor to change the school culture as an epitome to the people. The Principal as a leader, manager and administrator should think beyond the scope of framework to manage the school in good conducive at all the time.
The students will be happy to learn and the teaching and learning process very meaningful in the classroom.This is the epitome of excellence in school.
