The Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who also Minister of Education said English is a must-pass in Universities and students more eloquent in this subject.The DPM stressed on that particular subject for the purpose of developing human capital building to face the world challenging in all sectors.The major objective of Malaysian Education Blue Print is to strengthen the human capital in all field.The transformation in education system initially with three waves.The first wave (2013-2015) will focusing on developing core skills in school, the second wave (2016-2020) concentrating on system improvement and the third wave (2021-2025) move toward excellence to increase operational flexibility.

Padu is acronym of Performance and Delivery Unit was established in 2013 become part of the important unit at the Ministry to enhance the implementation of Malaysian Blue Print better known in Malay Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia (PPPM).The major function of Padu is to supervise performance and advise the ministry in delivery the outcome by the year 2025. Improving the quality of education especially in the teaching and learning process is vital part to strengthen the nation in the long term.The quality of education are closely related with the leadership and management in school.The good leader always thinking positive and energetic to work. SMK Sinar Bintang @STAR was introduced English day in every Wednesday to encourage students and teachers communicate well in English. We also established the school debate in English and Bahasa Melayu once a month to improve the vocabulary among students.Through this program we hope students and teachers can choose the correct word in daily speaking and writing English eloquently.
Attitude versus change
Our attitude will determine our personality. People who afraid to change will irrelevant in life.No improving without change.There are lots of book,journal, article, newspapers written in English to frontier the knowledge and skills.Students at the Higher Institution refer in English to complete the task or assignment.I personally believe, attitude is the main factor to generate our mind set thinking wisely.The more we read,the more we write and the more we trying to communicate in English, the more we explore knowledge and rich of vocabulary. By the year 2016 English subject will be obligatory to all Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidate and hopefully students prepare themselves with this subject properly.Dismissed your bad habit from lazy thinking to avoid your mind become lethargic and weaknesses in life.
