Ismail Hutson dies of heart compilcation KUALA LUMPUR, July 21 (Bernama) -- Veteran actor Datuk Ismail Omar, popularly known as Ismail Hutson, died early today due to heart complication. He was 72. Ismail, who was also Malaysian Zoological Society president, succumbed to the medical complication at 1.05am, at the Sime Darby Medical Centre in Subang Jaya.
He was buried at the Kota Damansara cemetery here this afternoon.
His second wife, Hafidzah Khasbullah, said Ismail was admitted to the hospital's Critical Care Unit on Tuesday, after suffering prolonged high fever.
"It is fated that he leave us in early Ramadan. The Hari Raya celebrations this year will definitely be different without him," she told Bernama when met today.Ismail is also survived by first wife, Zaiton Osman, and seven children.
The Veteran Artistes Welfare Association president was involved in the film industry since the 1970s.
He appeared in movies which included Dayang Suhana (1978), Tujuh Biang Keladi (1984), Hantu Siang (1986), Cinta Kita (1995), Layar Lara (1997), Mr Cinderella 2 (2003) and several television dramas. -- Bernama
