Recently the Booster Pump at SMK Sinar Bintang are not functioning well because of water rationing.The only main block receiving water, the rest all empty because of too low pressure in the school compartment.Students are force to share with teachers toilets almost in every time during school hours.Water rationing in two days time since March 2014 totally restless to all users including school.This evening The Principal with several Senior Assistant spent a few hours at the water pump house to see what is actually happen to the machine.We were told by technician, the Booster Pump was not working as usual because of the water rationing scheduled.
Monitoring Machine
We need some one to monitor and control the machine during the water scheduled in school. According to him, the machine does not automatically stop but still running without water.This situation may harm and will damage the whole system in the Booster Pump and surely will affected the school infrastructure in the long term.After having discussions we came into conclusion, Mr.Cheli Senior Assistant will supervise the machine in the afternoon and Mr Subki will be in-charge in the morning session to ensure the operating system run smoothly to the whole school blocks.I personally reported the case to The Education Department last week but unfortunately there is no further action until today. We must find alternative source to upgrade the boost pump maintenance to ensure all equipments in good condition.
