ALAM: Indonesian president Joko Widodo who visited Proton headquarters
here today test drove the Proton Perdana and Proton Iriz.
He later told Proton chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad that he was pleased with the visit that saw him witnessing a Memorandum of Understanding between Proton Holdings Bhd and PT Adiperkasa Citra Lestari to develop and manufacture the Indonesian national car.

Dr Mahathir also said that the feasibility study on the areas of cooperation outlined in the MoU will take six months.
Jokowi was accompanied by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and several Cabinet ministers.
In the morning, the president who arrived yesterday, held bilateral
talks with Najib at the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya.
