Mini motorcycle from scrap
KOTA BAHARU: Rohazman Affendi Abdul Rahim who makes mini motorcycle from scrap has become the talk of the town.
Mini motorcyles created by Rohazman,46, are made from scrap metal, tin cans, plastic bottles and lawn mower engines.
The mini motorcycle is sold at RM800-RM1,000 each. Rohazman said he was inspired to make the mini motorcycle five years ago when saddled with a damaged bicycle and lawn mower.
"The damaged lawn mower was courtesy of a resident who could not get sparepart while the bicycle belonged to my son," he told Bernama at his shop in Binjai, Kubang Kerian, here today.
After some thought, the mechanic with over 15 years experience began working on the mini motorycle starting with the bicycle.
Rohazman used the bicycle as the foundation and then work on installing the lawn mover engine.
"I succeeded after about one month of trying. Nine residents have already placed orders for the two-wheeler.
"They also provide me with bicycles and lawn mower engines. I need two weeks to make one mini motorcycle," he said. - Bernama
